Do I need to jailbreak my iPhone?

No. Nothing is installed or modified on your phone. UseAlibi uses the developer location service that Apple ships inside iOS.

Does my location leave my computer?

No. The location goes straight from the app, down the USB cable, to the tethered phone. There is no server in between.

Which versions are supported?

iOS 17 through iOS 26, on Windows 10 and 11.

How hard is setup?

A guided walkthrough verifies each step — Apple Devices installed, iPhone plugged in, Trust, Developer Mode — and surfaces the hidden Developer Mode toggle for you. Most people are running in a few minutes. See Set up your iPhone.

What if the cable disconnects?

UseAlibi auto-reconnects when the cable comes back, and your last set location persists across app restarts.

How do I go back to my real location?

Unplug the cable. Your iPhone returns to reporting its real GPS position by itself.
